Hands-On with Cobots: Programming & Integration

This course is designed as an introductory program for undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students, especially those in their first year. It covers the basics of collaborative robots (cobots) and also includes an introduction to traditional industrial robots, making it suitable even for students with no prior experience in robotics.

Each module includes:

  • Easy-to-understand theory lessons
  • Code demonstrations to show how things work
  • Assignments to reinforce learning
  • Lab demonstrations to connect theory with real-world applications
  • A final exam at the end of the course

By the end of this course, students will gain a strong foundation in robotics and will be better prepared for advanced studies or careers in the robotics and automation industry, both in India and abroad.

Course Outcome

  • Simulate and test cobot operations using industry-standard tools and virtual labs.
